Subsequently to the discussions between PM Ranil Wickramasinghe and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, four MOU’s between the two countries were signed.
Foreign minister Mangala Samaraweera, Indian ministers and High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Y A Singha had been present at the occasion.

Today the two countries signed bilateral agreements regarding the supply of medical equipment to the Regional Hospital of Vavunia which consists of 200 beds and to create an emergency ambulance service in the country.
