HTC, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, yesterday (30) entered the Sri Lankan market with a range of smartphones.
The company also announced the appointment of Softlogic as the national distributor for Sri Lanka.
Speaking, President of HTC South Asia, Faisal Siddiqui said that HTC is pleased to launch their smartphones in the Sri Lankan market and that they wish to empower the masses and put a good phone in everyone's hands without compromising on features and specifications.
In a statement, Chairman of Softlogic Holdings PLC - Ashok Pathirage said "today marks the beginning of a very exciting journey for us as we partner with HTC to launch its line-ip of mobile phones in the country. Sri Lankan mobile phone users can now look forward to the best of technology and services via HTC and Softlogic.
Sri Lankan cricketer Thisara Perera also attended the event.
