Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived in Japan today (03) on an official visit.
The a five-day official visit was made at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.
The eight-member Sri Lankan delegation also included Foreign Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, and Science Technology and Research Minister Susil Premajayantha.
Prime Minister Wickremesinghe is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Abe on October 6. He will holds bilateral talks with Prime Minister Abe and several other members of the Japanese Cabinet.
Special attention would be drawn towards economic, trade, investment relations between the two countries and science and cultural fields during these talks.
