Water Supply and Drainage Board Joint Trade Union Alliance says that all services of the Board will be disrupted today (28).
The joint Trade Union alliance, which held a token strike in the weekend in protest of slashing their bonus, are striking work from 9.00am - 12 noon today.
Speaking, the Trade Union Alliance convener Upali Rathnayake said that the strike would put a halt to many services including issuing bills, obtaining payments and maintenance.
He added that they would reach a decision if a proper solution is not granted after today's strike as well.
Around 500 incidents of water supply services being hampered due to the trade union action was reported by last evening, he further added.
