Unilever’s iconic beauty brand Lux unveiled their latest brand innovation, ‘Lux Fragrant Gold’ to a packed media briefing.
Addressing the gathering, Unilever’s Category Head Skin Cleansing, Shanika Jayawardana said “ For the very first time, consumers will have the opportunity of experiencing and wearing Fine Fragrance which is now not limited to a bar of soap, but is encapsulated in a beautifully crafted pendant, made of gold and infused with the signature Lux French Rose Fine Fragrance”.
The evening commenced with a display of the pendants by models, while the Fragrance Zones enabled all those present to experience the unique Lux French Rose Fine Fragrance.
Lux brand ambassador - Pooja Umashankar, gifted the lucky winners who had already benefitted as a result of the consumer promotion, with their pendants.
Speaking on the promotion, Pooja said that the filigree work of the rose pendent reflected what she liked to wear, like chiffon or lace. "Fragrance is very important... Wish it will stay forever... It makes me a happy person," she said.
Voicing her thoughts on endorsing the brand, Pooja said her hometown of Bangalore is the city of roses and she grew up with the rose as her favourite flower and with memories of her father tucking a rose in her mother's hair.
For Lux to be capture such childhood memories and to be associated with such an evergreen brand is fabulous... For me, Lux is perfect, she added.
