After five consecutive wins in the ongoing cricket world cup, nine in a row before the Zimbabwe match in two world cups, India cricket team’s test captain Virat Kohli has decided to hand over test captaincy to Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Speaking to My Faking News from down under, Kohli confirmed his broad minded intentions of returning the “leadership to Dhoni paaji, as he has regained his winning streak, though in fifty over format.”“Entire team was waiting for that brilliance streak of captaincy from Dhoni paaji and, we all want to give him a shock, like he did when he
announced his retirement in tests after a series of defeats, after we win 2015 edition of world cup” Kohli said. Even team director Ravi Shastri endorsed Kohli’s views. But he was quite, cent percent, sure that Dhoni will not accept Kohli’s proposal.
“Kohli has proposed a brilliant move to show the solidarity in the team. We all will try and persist Dhoni to accept this proposal. If not after this world cup, we will keep trying till 2019 and I am sure by that time Dhoni will definitely accept this proposal. Main reason would be by then Dhoni would have retired from the other two formats, and perhaps the 10 over format which is taking shape in the minds of think tanks across the cricket playing nations” Shastri, who was champion of champions in 1985, said.
